Balsamic vinegar is manufactured in the Italian province of Modena, Emilia-Romagna region. It consists of the dark grapes varieties wine vinegar, concentrated grapes mash, and caramel dye.
Vinegar is aged in special wooden barrels, which fills the taste with a unique wooden note. It contains sulfates, so it is not recommended for sulfur dioxide allergic people. Non-GMO. Acidity – 6%.
It is categorized as IGP – Indicazione Geografica Protetta (protected geographic name), which is evidence of its origins. It is allowed to manufacture this remarkable product only in Modena.
Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP has an unmistakable smell of grapes and dark-brown color. It also has a sweet-sour well-balanced taste; you can feel ripe grapes there. Its consistency is liquid.
It goes well with cold snacks and vegetable salads, warm meat, and fish dishes. Tastes the best with Mediterranean cuisines.
